Aida the energy witch

Hello, I’m so glad that you stopped by! I am Aida. I am a diviner - a cartomancer, astrologer, and seer based in Miami.

Folks often ask me, “how did you get into this?” My family nicknamed me “la brujitaaka the little witch, when I was three years old due to my ability to know and see things before they happened. I come from a maternal line of seers and oracles, all of whom encouraged my gifts and abilities.

When I’m not slinging cards, reading the stars, or talking to the Moon, you can find me spinning on my trapeze, sipping tea while cuddling my feline roommate, or reading at the beach.

My approach

revelation • alignment • embodiment

Divination is the art of discovering hidden knowledge by the interpretation of omens. If the only way out is through, then divination is the threshold. It provides access to personal revelation so you can find a path towards alignment and embodiment.

I believe that you have a divine and sacred calling. Living out your natal promise is not about conforming to the path the world expects of you. Rather, it’s about turning inwards and remembering and honoring your truth. It is about coming back into alignment with your heart and soul.

I use divination — astrology, cartomancy, and my intuitive skills — to help you navigate the terrain and storms of your life.

Featured in cultural events & press

In 2023, I was honored to be a featured guest and facilitator at the Annual YoungArts Art Basel Miami Beach VIP Breakfast & Artist Talk during Miami Art Week, where I helped plan and guide the conversation around tarot, astrology, and symbolism alongside artist Isabella Mellado for her exhibition Desde el Charco.

My background and training

Events

I bring 10 years of experience in project and program management across the nonprofit and technical sectors, including organizing international delegations, conferences, and events, as well as developing educational curricula and supporting platform and product feature launches. I have served as secretary and governance chair on local arts and civic engagement nonprofit boards and earned a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University. This experience informs the seamless, thoughtful, and transformative experiences I create.

Divination

Divination requires intuition and divine inspiration, but it also requires practice and trained skill.

I am a self-taught cartomancer (card reader). I began studying tarot in 2016 before expanding to playing cards and oracle decks. My practice and self-study draw from the works of Roger J Horne, T Susan Chang, Charlie Clare Burgess, and Benebell Wen.

My astrological practice consists of Medieval Persian techniques, traditional Hellenistic methods, and horary. I studied traditional and modern astrology under Samuel F. Reynolds. Since 2020, my practice and self-study has been strongly impacted by the works of Demetra George, Dr. Ali Olomi, Chris Brennan, Maeg Keane, and Kelly Surtees.

My approach to my overall practice has also been influenced by my ancestral spirits and guides, additional mediumship training under psychic and death doula, Diana Steele, and the curanderismo teachings of Erika Buenaflor.

My personal craft centers living in attunement to the rhythm of the cosmos — the land and the stars. In other words honoring my divine timing and spiritual connections, alongside my place on Earth and in my community. I am a devotee of la Purísima and her many faces.

I launched my public practice as a diviner in December 2023. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Bluesky, and Patreon.
